Week 10
This week I created a new character for the alien faction and made assets for projectiles. I also began work on alien faction upgrade assets.
Week 9
This week I finalized all animations for Alien Faction buildings into their respective spritesheets and .xmls. I also redesigned some buttons for the use with the Alien Faction and began designing an icon/logo as well as some other miscellaneous ideas.

Here’s what I have been working on this past half of a semester. Also this week was my final UI design, although we have decided to go in a direction similar to my original design. I also generated and finalized an asset for the Alien nuke silo, edited the chromium drill, and began work on the radiation tower.

Week 6
This week I thought about UI designs differing from what we have had previously. I also developed ideas for more alien faction characters which I hope to advance. I finished the design and animation of the alien chromium drill, however I need to do a palette swap for the upgraded version.
Week 5
This week I continued concepts for the alien faction, including characters and buildings. I created an asset for the alien chromium drill and have begun animating the building. Along with Taranto, I found the usefulness of the Maya vector renderer that greatly facilitates converting 3D renders to 2D vector images. This will make animating much easier and look better.
